Our client is looking to hire a C# .NET developer interested in joining the local software division.

CODAI Consults is searching for a Mid-Senior Level Software Developer. The applications are built around Microsoft technologies like Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, HTML, jQuery, and SQL Server. You will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting products composed of web, iOS/Android (Xamarin), desktop (WPF), and core API components.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to define technical requirements, design, and implement customizations and data integrations
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Design and update SQL database
• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
• Work with a Product Owner and your development team to plan upcoming work
• Document designs and processes so that multiple teams can benefit from your work
• Write production-quality code with the ability to develop entire feature sets that can be understood by more junior developers
• Test your code while developing as well as test other’s code (Utilize Test Driven Development approach)
• Help to identify process improvements and software development standards
  
  Skills Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred
• Industry experience with any of the following: ASP.NET C#/VB, Visual Studio, T-SQL, .NET, jQuery, Telerik, HTML, CSS
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing interfaces for enterprise applications and writing software deployed in a production environment, preferably using C#, ASP.NET Core and other Microsoft technologies
• Software development experience should include distributed server solutions with rigorous quality, scalability, robustness, and reliability requirements
• Ability to resolve architectural problems including scalability, performance, reliability, usability, and security
• Experience inspecting coding practices and reviewing software designs required
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, energetic team
• Experience with Automated Unit Test frameworks (nUnit, SpecFlow) preferred

Additional Skills and Experiences

• Experience developing applications utilizing cloud technology
• Experience developing micro services
• Cloud-based development and deployment
• Proficiency with software development tools like the following is preferred: Microsoft Visual Studio, Git Source Control, DiffMerge (or another text file comparison tool), Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and Query Analyzer
• Experience developing mobile applications with Xamarin
• Experience developing web applications with ReactJS, Angular, or similar
